Yeah, Heroes' mythology gets a little dense after season one. I use a lot of obscure comics canon in here, but I hope I've managed to make this fic accessible to people who haven't seen it... I've even contemplated inserting links to the wiki for some characters.
Funnily, my grandmother's the reason I started watching Castle.
I was a rabid Browncoat, but wasn't really into procedurals then, and wasn't sure if I could watch the show just for the Fillion. But I thought it might be fun to introduce him to my grandmother through the show, because she loves mysteries, and after that Castle became our weekly together thing.
And, of course, I found our boys. :D
The first slash fic I ever wrote was actually to get a copy of Naked Heat for her birthday. Not that she knows the sordid details of the story contest that won it. ;)
