Lynch: I liked Blue Velvet and loved Dune. I know people rave about Eraserhead, but I wasn't thrilled about it. The beginning "makes sense" enough. Okay, none of it makes any sense, but through the beginning you can sort of watch it as the POV of a mentally ill man going through a frustrating but otherwise fairly normal event. I like it for that, but toward the end it just kind of falls apart into nonsense.
Cronenberg: Loved The Dead Zone, loved The Fly (and eXistenZ almost made this list). I watched the first half of Rabid but couldn't really get into it. I keep meaning to see Dead Ringers, but I never really seem to be able to commit to it. :/
Want to see Identity even though the ending got spoiled for me somewhere along the way.
