Wtf: My consistent fail in the area of managing time wisely...

I have three multichapter fics in progress at the moment, and several unfinished entries for the Life verse. I have two works in progress that I have yet to dangle in front of anybody. I have notes for multiple sequels for almost every fic I've written so far. Yet, for some reason, my brain decided to spit out not just another Roach idea, but one which has (apparently) grabbed my brain to the extent that it required a banner be made of it.

Yes, that's right. I spent several hours today on a banner for a fic I may never even write.

If I ever do write this, it'll be the first fic I've done with legit Caskett and Kevin/Jenny in it. Though the chief pairing in this one...

Well, let's just say it's still a Roach fic at heart. In an odd, my-love-triangles-use-non-Euclidean-geometry sort of way.

Creepy. I'm barely in Castle fandom yet, and I imagine it will be even longer before I broach Nikki Heat fandom, but you have definitely intrigued me.

Yeah. My subconscious seems to feel that "normal" fandoms like Castle are severely lacking in essential minerals like aliens and vampires and apocalypses and such. :/

I spent an hour a couple of days ago during my allotted writing time plotting out a Sherlock/Harry Potter crossover while I was supposed to be finishing an overdue Teen Wolf fic. You're definitely not alone in poor time management. :P

LOL! I'm laughing because I completely understand! For the last three weeks or so I've been struggling to do more than just get started on finishing up Shattered Salvation, and what does this morning bring me for inspiration? Peter cuddling up to Sylar's feet in the Wall verse. Totally unhelpful. But whatever. I wrote it, so it's out of my brain. For the short stuff, that usually seems to work better than fighting with my muse, and anyway it gives mah readers something to read on while I try and fail to stay on track.

Yeah, that's what I like about the Life 'verse. Since so many of the stories are just one shots I can get them out of my brain and focus on other stuff.

Might mean I never get to a "proper" sequel for that 'verse, but oh well...

The problem though is that almost everything else I write is in multichapter format, so I either end up sitting on a bunch of unfinished fic, or irritating people with six WIPs 'm slow to finish...
