Most of the clues are actually in "One Giant Leap", and they're mentioned in this chapter. There are a few other clues that can be picked up on from OGL if you were paying super ridiculous attention to the Interludes. There are a very few clues in other chapters, but really only the sort of thing that would pop out if you already suspected what was going on... For the most part, all the clues are (meant to be) pretty subtle, the kind of thing you pick up on after the fact.
Honestly, I just didn't want it to feel like it was coming straight out of left field.
The reason I suggested re-reading the Interludes was because (I think) the events of those chapters probably read a whole lot different when you can put a face to the name.
