OMG, yes!! I've had this idea in my head for a while... I don't know if you know/watch The Vampire Diaries. There's a guy, in that show, Damon, he's so bad it's good. So you can actually imagine him in so many twisted situation without it being so much of of character. There are a lot of slash parirings with him, but somehow I just can't see them working (his epic crush on teh main chick is too much of a roadblock for me. I'd be like pairing Castle with Kevin. It could work, but boy, it'd make me pissed in Javier and Kate's behalf, you know?). One thing that could make me go for a slash pairing with Damon, which, oddly, hasn't been mentionned once as far as I know (okay, maybe it makes a bit of sense because you'd peg it as a top)... I want to see him crave gay sex *because* for once, once every decade or something, he can *feel* warmth inside himself. I dunno, it seems insanely existential and you've touched to that in your fic. Instead of just making it a zombie fic, you make it "Hey... You say 'ew' or 'scary'. Have you ever asked yourself how it feels to them to be postvital?" And you do it beautifully, I may add.
