They are still running, but it's a MUD rather than a forum. MUDs are...kinda different, if you've never played one. Kind of like a cross between a chatroom and an MMO.
I also haven't been back there in years because the admins were rabidly unprofessional and rude. There are a group of older players trying to put together their own place, though. If you want, I could give you a heads-up when it's opened, since I was thinking of giving it a try.
