Another thing, which I haven't had time to work in yet (but plan to): Peter explains his ability to Claude in season one, Claude comments that he's "one of those". Which implies that the Company encountered at least one other empathic mimic in the past. Konrad's pre-9/11 issues are partially my way of nerfing his compliment of abilities, and partly my explanation for Claude's apparent painful (though occasionally humorous) misunderstanding of how Peter's ability works.
