Why is my brain giving me more fic ideas now that I have even less time to write? How is that even remotely fair?

To date, these are the 'verses with past works/works in progress I have posted:
Evidence (aka, Castle werewolf 'verse) Three sequels, and some ficlets (mostly either 'wolf fluff or angst without reason).
Life (aka, Castle zombie 'verse). I have six half-written ficlets for this, not counting the ones that are just random jotted notes in my notebook/ideas file.
Zeitgeist (CastlexHeroes, with the Nazis and stuff). It's more or less a pentology at this point...
Sui Generis (aka, the one where Javi's an alien). It has...two sequels planned so far, and a couple ficlets, and it's not even done.
Of Mice and Men (CastlexFables) Oh, look, more sequels planned for a fic I haven't finished yet. *sigh* apologies to [livejournal.com profile] adja999.
There's also Midnight Madness, a sequel to Women Scorned, but it's a little...okay, a lot crack in a way I never right, and honestly I don't know if I have the strength.

To date, these are the works in progress I haven't posted any of, but have had in the works for quite some time:
Ecdysis (Castle wing!fic I teased to [livejournal.com profile] roachstar...was that multiple years ago?).
Fools Rush In (CastlexSupernatural) Linked to the h50 fic I did ages ago.
In Cold Blood (another supernatural Castle 'verse, though this one I'd like to keep a surprise--if the title doesn't make it obvious)
Honeymilk (because, honestly, one of these days I will finish a Castle concept that uses Faeries--it still shocks me I haven't finished yet, this idea is older than Roach Motel).
That SkyrimxCastle fusion is happening one of these days, I know it...

Oh, and a couple of fics for The Walking Dead. Because zombies.

And these are the fics which have sprung themselves on me within the last month:
If Shadows Offend (post-apoc Castle fic I teased a while back) I love this setting, but I can't think of an endgame to finish it by, which makes me sad.
Bulletproof (oh look, another weird Castle AU) This isn't a "new" concept so much as one I've had in the back of my mind and was supposed to collaborate on with another author...only, two days ago, my brain latched onto an opening line and ran with it. This is one looks like it could easily wrap up as a single story, so it's probably what I'm going to wind up developing for [livejournal.com profile] ryanandesposito once the ficathon starts in earnest.
And this morning's train ride saw the formulation of yet another CastlexFirefly crossover. Those aren't anything new, but my idea is pretty drastically different from any other crossover that's been done. Mostly because it focuses on Kevin and Javi in the future rather than Beckett and Castle/Mal, and it approaches the connection between the writer and the smuggler a bit differently. The twists are all incredibly psychotic and so blatantly pulled out of my favorite bag of tropes (false identities, strange revelations, amnesia and angst like woah) that it's like I'm scrawling my name in crayon across the character's foreheads.

Oh, and that bunny that I keep throat punching that wants me to write about the Avengers coming to the rescue of a former S.H.I.E.L.D. agent who suddenly has a price on his head for knowledge he doesn't know he has. The ex-agent's name? Javier Esposito.

And I haven't even watched the movie yet. Imagine how bad it will be when I have.

It would suck less if I could finish one of these without thinking about ten others concurrently. *whimpers* Make it stop...
