I know the pacing can be a bit frustratingly slow (I've even frustrate myself at times), but I can at least guarantee you those connections won't be obscured forever.
And if you mean Castle and Sylar, then yes, they are. And yes, once the full family tree is uncovered things will get...interesting. :)
