I maintain that having the fixings for a bacon and egg sandwich (on awesome, puffy english muffin) totally balances out the experience of having a rat run across the top of the stove while I'm cooking it. No sugar for my tea, though. I know there is sugar in this house somewhere, but I don't know where it is. It is hidden from certain housemates (Leanne) who are known to put way too much in their coffee and in their cereal (even chocolate cereal—and occasionally in their hot cocoa, and who even does that?). It's probably on some random shelf where Tony hid it. He's literally a foot and a half taller than me. I could drag out the step stool and go exploring, but this early it doesn't really seem to be worth it.
Getting up at 5 a.m. to leave just before 6 a.m. to spend two hours on public transportation with the generally skeeziness that is the city of Sacramento so that I can arrive for an 8 a.m. class. Oh, and it's probably going to rain. Yay. At least it's Image Manipulation. I sit in front of a computer for four hours play around with the tool the teacher tells me to. Not exactly rocket science. I just wish it wasn't a Mac. :(
Though the real bitch thing about this class is that it requires me to come in to finish homework on days off, because I'm too broke to have my own copy of Photoshop.
So.

Rat. I do love rats. I used to have one as a pet that I love. I may, or may not find it disturbing if one ran across the stove while I cooked. I can't say. I'd probably be stuck between "Hey! WTF?!" and a PTSD induced jump to the ceiling and "awwwwweeehhhhh... C'mere."
As a French gal, I don't know what a becaon and egg sandwich is, though I can imagine. And I assume it's like what we call "Croque Monsieur" (http://www.gralon.net/recettes-cuisine/aliments/aliment-croque-monsieur.htm) which litterally means "Crunch/bite Sir" (ew) and a "Croque Madame has an egg on top of it, because who doesn't want a boob analogy in their food... :/
Ugh. Your schedule. I am so bad at getting up earlier than 6:45am. :S I am okay with watching the sun rise when it's still winter or something and it rises past 7am, or if I've stayed up very very late/early. But because I rose before it... bleh.
Unless it's to catch a plane to the caribbeans, in this case I'll probably make an exception.
I understand the "Mac" problem. I have no issues with Apple, and I am an owner and addict of ipod+iphone and just wouldn't change because every other 'smart' thing I come across just seems less so in comparison... but I'm a PC girl and I'm used to it. Mac confuses the shit out of me and I've seen Macs glitch so much that the 'no issues' thing feels just like bull to me. Nah. PC. Plus they're cheaper.
If I could afford it, instead of going Mac, I'd go Alienware. Cause I'm just that kind of dork. :P
(I just blindly picked up my thermos of tea and went to drink it like it was a bottle of beer. WHY?! When have I EVER drunk beer out of a bottle? Never? Why? I never drink beer. It's foamy, it stinks and it tastes like drunken frat boys. Noooh thanks.
What the fuck, me?
Now I burned myself and I gotta change.)
Um. *cough* About photoshop.
*cough* There are ways...

Date: Thursday, 26 April 2012 02:55 pm (UTC)From:There is bacon, there is egg, it goes between two halves of the english muffin. A little mayo. Nothing fancy, but there has been almost nothing to eat in the house for the past two weeks, and I'm a sucker for a nice hot breakfast that isn't sweet.
A lot of Americans put sugar in cereal, just normally it's the plainer cereals (puffed rice, corn flakes, toasted oat thingers like Cheerios). But Leanne will put sugar in it even when it's already sweet. And her coffee... *shudders*
My shout when the rat ran across the back of the stove was: "Dude, SERIOUSLY?" And then I had to laugh at that, because that reaction struck me as being funny as hell.
I like early mornings. I just prefer them from the perspective of "late nights". You know the, "I've written so much tonight— Oh, shit, is it 6 a.m. already?" O.o
And I'm clearly not awake. The lights are off in the lab, and I seriously just hallucinated that one of the guys leaning over another guy's shoulder to help him with something put a hand on his thigh. (It was the second guy's hand on the guy's own thigh.) It's seriously a bad sign if I start slashing my class mates. Especially art school Marines.
(though God bless art school Marines *drools*)

Hm. I get it. Most of our cereals are pre sweetened. And the ones which aren't are allegedly 'diet' so, obviously, the people buying those are not going to add sugar to them.
I think.
*grins* I would definitely react similarly. In English, too. My exclamations are almost all in English now. From "Shit, that hurt!" to "WTF?!" to "Ha ha, you fail so hard."

That's pretty much what I meant to say, but without being coherent enough to make a pretty sentence. *fp*
I'm not sure what an art school Marine is. Unless it involves a naked Gibbs being drawn by his team, with Tony focusing hard and biting his tongue, Ziva trying not to look sly and McGee flumbling with everything and dropping his pencils.
Though slashing your classamates? It's okay! It seems to me they were asking for it.
Also... are you *sure* you hallucinated it? *spych*

Date: Wednesday, 2 May 2012 06:40 pm (UTC)From:But no, art school Marines are Marines who have left the service for whatever reason and are using their GI Bill cashes to get an art education. There is a surprisingly large number of them at my school (and, okay, other military too, but for some reason a lot of Marines).

I am SO bad.
Also, remember Chris, the neighbor I said I was converting to SPN. He met Cas tonight. Reaction.
"Damn, that guy is pretty for a badass evil son of a bitch." lol
I think he was possessed by Dean at the time.
