Wtf: It came from the '80s

So I was youtubing, listening to my playlist for Zeitgeist while I worked on Chapter 20 of Black Edelweiss when it "Who Wants to Live Forever" came up (because that would ever not be on there?), and it occurred to me it had been a long time since I had listened to any of the songs from the movie all the way through.

If Highlander and its soundtrack aren't, hands down, the best thing to come out of the Eighties, then they've got to be pretty fucking close. I mean...I've had a ridiculous crush on Christopher Lambert when I was a kid (who am I kidding, I still do, his eyes, his laugh, Jesus...), and on Clancy Brown's voice (and his everything else too), and who doesn't love Sean Connery...

(And I'm actually one of the few who liked Highlander II: The Quickening, but I digress...)

Item the first: It does not get more epic than the first minute and forty seconds of this.

Item the second: Now, that said, I've never really done RPF. It's just never really grabbed me/feels awkward/weird/pick one. Still, can't ever seem to watch this video without my slash goggles on.
