A friend of mine linked me to this comic a few hours ago, and it wound up eating my entire night.
I've read a lot of Avengers fic of late, and a great deal of it has been both brilliant and clever. However, I can't say I've been blessed with finding a comic that has left me feeling that way before.
This comic is...really, really amazing. It's smart, and thoughtful, and hilarious.
The plot concerns Loki approaching Dr. Selvig regarding the Tesseract, and getting side tracked when Loki's chaotic presence makes the application of traditional science impossible. Cue the project of finding a way to dampen the Norse god's natural field of entropy so that real research can commence.
Not that this project doesn't also have its own unexpected little bumps...
And Rubix butterflies. And accidental bonzai trees. But that's Loki for you.
