(Wtf) Writing Update—2 March 2014

I feel like I did more than just this, but I can't remember what exactly, so...this. Also, I'm finally breaking down and using exact values. Why? Because seeing visible progress of even fifty words makes me feel good about myself, that's why.

Priority Fics:

Grimm Reflections: More progress on Chapter 3. Also, broke Chapter 3 ("The Huntsman") into two chapters, "The Shepherd" and "The Huntsman". Because Hank doesn't do a whole lot in this fic, but he still deserves his own chapter, yes he does. Of course, that means that I have to rewrite the beginning of the chapter to be from his point of view rather than Nick's, but that shouldn't be too hard.

Concept of Mind: UPGRADE!!
Case!fic details are slowly trickling in. I haven't quite pinned down the particulars on the killer yet, or how they are going to be caught, but I've got clues pointing the way to both. I have planned out a vague structure of chapters, of which there will likely be more than thirteen. As of this morning, I've thankfully come up with an idea for the climax, which is promising to deliver more than I'd originally conceived the story would have. As well, depending on what happens in the Almost Human finale tomorrow night, the conclusion of the story may wind up very closely rooted in this season's plot arc.
I've moved the ideas I've not yet utilized to a separate file. This is probably a good sign. Also, naming that file "Concept concepts" amused me.
This feels like planning enough that I've begun properly writing the prologue.

Ubi Sunt: I, uh... I read a lot of weird, random zoology articles on Wikipedia, which kind of counts as research. Kind of. And I fussed around with a couple of ficlets related to, but not actually part of this story. So...um. Yeah.
