The Robber Bridegroom [CastlexFables]
Well I got past the awkwardness in the dialog, which meant some productivity on a particularly cool bit of description. Unfortunately, after that comes more dialog, but if I can just muscle through that then I'll probably really be able to get work done... Because description flows beautifully, but if there's one thing that my past works have proven it's that nothing gets the momentum on my writing going faster than angst.

Grimm Reflections [CastlexGrimm]
Chapter Four is finished (finally). I like to think once I find my momentum opening Chapter Five that it will continue to roll as productively. Because Grimm is not a fandom I've written before, and because this one has been languishing with unfinished chapters for far too long, I've contracted a beta to try and keep me focused on getting things done.

I think my lack of past productivity might have something to do with the dip in feedback I was getting once I stopped posting chapters to unfinished fic. I'm of two minds about going back to my original method of posting chapters as they were finished rather than waiting on a finished product. On the one hand, I hate leaving people hanging. On the other...if I'm not posting anything, then there's never going to be anyone around to disappoint. :/
